Deadmau5 performed at Crofoot Festival Grounds in Pontiac, MI on Friday, July 23, 2021. Joel Zimmerman, more commonly known as deadmau5 (pronounced 'dead mouse'), is one of the world's most respected electronic music producers of modern times. Not only with the music, and the light production the show is a true experience that every person should experience. It’s the total body experience of dancing and enjoying the atmosphere of waves of enjoyment and fun. In 2002 Zimmerman became known as the “dead mouse guy” after telling people in an Internet chat room that he had found a dead mouse in his computer he then began using the shortened name Deadmau5 as his chat room username. He's a great producer. Deadmau5 has a unique sound, really polished and focused. His tracks are produced to perfection and mastered to stand out among other dance tracks.
Deadmau5 is currently touring across 4 countries and he will hit seven cities across the U.S. through the month of July, including a two-show run at Belly Up in Aspen, Colorado, which was previously announced and is already completely sold out. He'll also be performing two shows at Brooklyn Mirage in New York.
The summer tour has been greatly anticipated especially with the release of his new song “When the Summer Dies”. The new song proves again why Deadmau5 is one of the popular DJ’s and deserving of a Masterclass. He has found another way to take music to a whole another level that he has claimed as his home. He has managed to carry his old fans to the mountains and has added on a new generation of believers in the mix of it all. There is no beat, or groove that he can’t in cooperate to become a true masterpiece.
