• Alex Albon, Carlos Sainz and James Vowles will come together to battle Doctor Doom in an all-new collaboration between Williams and Marvel
• The team will be joined by iconic Marvel Super Heroes - including Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow – as they fight to save the racing season
• Fans will be able to celebrate the collaboration with activations in Miami and special edition covers at multiple Grands Prix across the season
Atlassian Williams F1 Team and Marvel today announce a landmark collaboration, which will see the iconic F1 team go wheel to wheel with the Marvel Universe for the very first time.
The comic book one-shot, starring drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, and Team Principal James Vowles, will be available for sale with special edition event-exclusive variant covers starting at the Monaco Grand Prix in early June and on shelves at comic shops across the US in October. The story will see the team come together to take on their biggest challenge yet - a battle with Doctor Doom, in the midst of the racing season. Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, and a host of other Marvel stars will also support the team on their mission.
Fans will be able to start celebrating the collaboration with pre-orders at the Williams Fan Zone in Miami, presented by Kraken, which will also feature a mural of Marvel stars, and a giant Marvel cover photo opp. Special edition variants of the comics will also be available for sale at the Silverstone, Madrid, Singapore, Austin, and Las Vegas Grands Prix.
